We are a local, small, Inari Sámi family business that actually lives the traditional lifestyle around the year, not only when travellers are around. We want to give you experiences that are not for masses, but for small groups and individuals that are truly interested in local culture and the history of Inari Sámi.
-
Our company is a social enterprise. We work together with our community and use the land only in ways that is agreed with the landowners and that is sustainable for the nature.
We are an Inari Sámi family, Mika and our children by heritage, Tiia by marriage and choice.
We live and breathe the Inari Sámi culture around the year, we do not represent anything, we are. We do not teach tyeiji (duodji), but locally commonly known crafts.
We work with nature respectfully: if we take something, we do not waste it, and we also give something back.
